Stride is operated by Afek Banyas. Contact afek10@gmail.com for account, billing or legal questions.
Your account and acceptance
These terms govern your use of Stride. You must be at least 18, create or sign in to your own account, and affirmatively accept these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy before purchasing through the app. We record the document versions and acceptance time. Creating an account or accepting these documents does not itself start a subscription or charge you.
Keep access to your sign-in email secure. Do not share codes or access another person's account. You are responsible for information you submit and for having permission to connect any health account. Google Health authorization is requested separately and can be declined or revoked.
Membership, billing and free trial
An active Stride Plus subscription or eligible trial is required for the app's health, trends, journal and planning features. Every plan includes the same service. Account support, purchase restoration, subscription management, legal information, export, disconnection and account deletion remain accessible without an active membership.
- Monthly: US $9.90, billed every month.
- Six months: US $29.90, billed every six months.
- Annual: US $49.90, billed every year.
Local prices and applicable taxes are shown by the App Store before confirmation. The full purchase price is charged for the selected billing period; a displayed monthly equivalent is explanatory, not a monthly instalment plan.
The annual plan includes a seven-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Apple determines eligibility. When eligible, the annual charge starts after the trial unless you cancel in time. An ineligible account can purchase the annual plan without a trial at the price shown. No trial is advertised as confirmed when eligibility cannot be verified.
Payment is handled through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Your Apple purchase sheet and subscription settings show the applicable price and renewal timing. Stride uses RevenueCat and server verification to maintain access, including during an Apple-confirmed grace period. Pending or unsuccessful purchases do not create a paid entitlement.
Cancellation, changes and refunds
Manage or cancel through Your space → Membership or Apple subscription settings. To avoid a charge after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancellation of renewal normally preserves access through the paid period. Plan changes follow the timing displayed by Apple; all Stride durations are the same service level.
If payment fails, Apple may retry collection. Access continues only while a valid entitlement or applicable grace period is confirmed. Update your payment details with Apple. An expired, refunded or revoked entitlement can return you to the membership screen; it does not automatically delete your health records.
For an App Store refund, use Apple's refund process. Apple decides eligibility under its rules and applicable law. We do not promise that a request will be approved. Nothing in these terms limits a refund, withdrawal or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Deleting your Stride account, uninstalling the app or disconnecting Google Health does not cancel your Apple subscription. Manage billing with Apple before or after account deletion. You do not need to wait for a subscription to expire to delete your account. Purchases are associated with the Stride account used at checkout; use that same account and Restore purchases when reinstalling or changing devices. Contact support if account access prevents restoration.
Using the service
Stride provides general wellness information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Wearable measurements and derived scores are estimates. The cardio fitness age feature compares eligible VO₂ max readings with published reference values; it is not a validated measure of cellular biological age or life expectancy. Do not use Stride to make urgent medical decisions or to disregard symptoms.
You need a compatible device, an eligible Google Health account, internet access for verification and sync, and the relevant permissions for live imports. Data availability depends on the provider, device and recording history. A subscription cannot guarantee that a particular measurement exists. Missing observations stay missing. We explain calculation inputs and limitations inside the app.
Stride grants you a personal right to use the app for its intended purpose while your access is valid. Your records remain yours. Do not misuse the service, interfere with security, circumvent subscription checks, resell access or infringe another person's rights. The app's original software, branding and content belong to their respective rights holders. Stride is independent of, and is not endorsed by, Google or Fitbit.
Maintenance, network failures and provider changes can interrupt features. We work to restore service and communicate material changes. We may restrict an account when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats or legal obligations, with notice where practical. This does not replace Apple's billing controls or your statutory rights.
Privacy, deletion and consumer rights
The Privacy Policy explains information used, service providers, safeguards and your controls. You can export records, disconnect imports or delete your account from account settings even after membership expires. Deletion removes active Stride records and requests removal of the RevenueCat customer record; provider backups and legally required transaction records follow the retention rules described in the policy.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of third-party measurements. We do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing or any liability or consumer protection that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. These terms do not remove mandatory rights that apply where you live.
For the iOS app, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also governs the software licence. Apple is the storefront and payment provider; Stride's operator remains responsible for Stride's service and support.
Changes and contact
We will identify material changes with an updated version and effective date, and request renewed acceptance when needed. Subscription price changes are handled through Apple's notice and consent processes where applicable. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
